A world of science’ revealed through experiments at MES Rani Lakshmibai Mulinchi Sainiki School

A ball floating in the air without any support, and watching the collision of the same ball with another ball next to each other, were some of the experiments amazed the audience present in the multipurpose hall of the school. Bernali’s principle of air velocity, the reflection of light in different mediums through the thyroscope and the law of momentum conservation when the oscillating Newton’s cradle collides with each other, Electromagnetic induction by means of Various concepts such as magnetic attraction were explained to the children through interesting experiments.
‘Atal Tinkering’ laboratory of M. E. S Rani Lakshmibai Mulinchi Sainiki Shala had organized a workshop on ‘The Joy Learning Science Through Experiments’ before the ‘Science Vachan Prerna Divas’.
Along with 378 girls cadets from Sainiki school, more than 150 students from various schools like Vidya Bhavan English Medium School, Sanskar School, Heritage International School, Elite International School and Sudarshan Vidyamandir participated in the workshop. Former Professor Shri. Bhagwan Chakradev who dedicated his life for the science exploration was the main guide and Mr. Keshavrao Deshpande along with Mr. Vijay Patil assisted him in the experiments.
Through this programme, the complex concepts of science were presented to the students in a very interesting manner and connected with their daily life. Sainiki School implemented an innovative concept of ‘Science Vachan Prerna Divas’ on Saturday 15th October by reading the various concepts presented in the programme. Sainiki School always organizes such programmes for the overall development of the rural students in its surrounding areas. On this occasion, the Sainiki School intends to bring all these schools together using the concept of ‘Cluster School’.
Mr. Ravindra Chaudhary, Cluster Head of Urawade Cluster , Mrs. Suvarna Kamble, Principal of Sainiki School, Commandant Mr. M. Yagyaraman were present for this programme. The programme was organized by ATL Head of the Department Mr. Anant Kulkarni and Head of Science Department Mrs. Manjiri Patil under the mentorship of Campus Director Mrs. Geetanjali Bodhankar . Mr. Anant Kulkarni, Vice Principal of the school thanked everyone and concluded the programme.
