PLE workshop at RLMSS – ATL activity
The research team from Parallel Minds (Nurpur Kulkarni, Madhuri Pawar, Grishma Lele, and Ishwari Bhakare) conducted the Siemens PLE (Pathway to Learning Engineering) Workshop at RLMSS on 13th and 14th of August 2024.
Siemens’ PLE is designed to empower educators and inspire students to learn about engineering. This innovative application includes engaging curriculum and professional design software Zel X. With it, students can develop their skills and prepare for the engineering jobs of tomorrow.
On the first day of the workshop, Unit 1 and a part of Unit 4 of the Discover Engineering course were covered. The remaining part of Unit 4 was given for the teachers and students to explore and conduct on their own which also included an interschool project competition.
The workshop was proved beneficial to understand students’ perspective by using Project Based Learning pedagogy.
This workshop will help immensely in the outcomes to help improve STEM education.
