In a first, select Cadets of Class XII & X Designates along with members of Staff, coordinated by
Shri Pramod Zurmure, Dept of Biology, RLMSS visited the Aviation Training Centre. The contingent had
Ms Jayashree Garud, Ms Sanskruti Mangawade & Mr Ram Dhait helping the cause.
At Yoskies Training Centre,
the RLMSS Contingent was briefed by Capt Ritesh Kokare, a qualified Pilot by himself, on various aspects of Civil Aviation while imparting the Cadets with the introductory knowledge of Aerodrome Layout, Orientation, Navigational aids, Telecommunication, RT Phraseology, Meteorology, Regulations etc.
Cadets were thrilled to have gone through live demonstrations on Airbus and Cessna aircraft Simulators.
Airveteran Sqn Ldr Ajay Paranjape, the Founder President of Yoskies interacted with the Cadets and spoke about the Aviation legacy, with few anecdotes and case studies and encouragingly made the Cadets understand the finer aspects of Civil Aviation and the possibility RLMSS Cadets getting trained by Yoskies in days to come.
