In as first, a 40 Girl Cadet Contingent of RLMSS participated in the ‘Sajjangad Run’ marking the 80th Independence Day Celebrations held at Sajjangarh, Satara.
The Run had over 200 participants taking part.
Girl cadets of RLMSS displayed exemplary performance coupled with higher level of endurance, discipline and camaraderie.
In a ‘Clean Sweep’ RLMSS Contingent bagged all the three positions and continued making MES RLMSS and Parents proud.
The position holders are :
~ Cdt Sanvi Ghadshi, IX, Durgavati House – First Position
~ Cdt Nandini Karodiwal, XI, Laxmi House – Second Position
~ Cdt Samruddhi Khopade, XI, Ahilya House – Third Position
These outstanding achievements of these cadets were duly recognised, highly appreciated and felicitated with medals, trophies, certificates and cash prize too.
The contingent had the following members who trained and coordinated the visit, doing us proud :

Post celebrations, the contingent, in a first, had a Goodwill and Motivational visit to Sainik School Satara and interacted with the Officials, Staff and Girl Cadets.
They also participated in a friendly Tug-of-War with the Ajinkyan Girl Cadets of SS Satara and made us proud by winning the match by 2-1 in a best of three pulls.
The contingent happily departed for RLMSS Campus with loads of laurels and learning value by 1730 hrs on 16 Aug 2026 and safely reached RLMSS Campus by 2345 hrs.
