It was in 2019 ,I along with ira and Aditya, my kids, went to witness(RD) Republican Day parade at New Delhi. It was the month of January.. and the frosty early morning and shivering chilli wind shattered us completely. it was 5 degree temperature outside and we were sitting at one place, for nearly 5 hours, at Rajpath.Battalions and the platoons of Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force lit the patriotic feeling in us.exchange of the Salutes, the Airshow of MIG and Mirage.. thrilled the entire atmosphere and the every state demonstrated their cultural heritage….
The patriotic songs and the divine atmosphere made us spellbound..
Ira, my daughter was completely mesmerize.. by this event. Immediately, after returning home, she decided to join an Army school and started searching for military schools in every corner of the state., where she can be admitted..And she found Rani Lakshmi Bai mulinchi sainiki Shala. at pune.
she enrolled her name. she cleared her entrance, Viva, medical test, and finally in standard 8, she was enrolled for Military School. since then, down the line, 3 years she is in this Army School and I am proud parent of Rani Lakshmi Bai mulinchi sainiki Shala.
In these many years, I can surely state that, I notice wonderful and miraculous changes in my daughter.. When she was admitted, she was 65 kgs and now she is 50 kgs. So, she lost 15 kgs in this 3 years. Secondly, Army schools made her independence, bold, confident…
Proudly noticeable achievement:
Nearly 600 + cadets study in this Army School. Along with Academics they are imparted with the training of horse riding, Karate, swimming, archery, खो-खो, Kabaddi, football, basketball and other team games as well as individual games. These cadets are groomed in such a beautiful way, that not only they are good in the Academics, but they are also good in physical fitness, endurance, and stamina..
Not only the cadet, but also the parents have to follow some rules and regulations of the school. The first and the foremost rule is
1. Not to contact the kids.
2. Not to supply any food stuff.
3. keep healthy atmosphere in the school.
and… I think after 3 years I can surely say that the patience and the perseverance of the parents bore fruits. parents are happy to see a drastic change in their kids.
So, now, my question is why not military schools? are coming up like mushrooms? everywhere?? in the corner of the country ??
Let me remind you…
This is not today’s traditions, it was mandatory, since our Vedic time.. when Brahmacharya ashram, Grihasthashram Vanaprastha ashram and Sanyas Ashram where compulsory for every individual. A life span was considered to be of 100 years ..and after every 25 years there was a change…
so, once the thread ceremony was conducted ,each and every child was suppose to go to his Guru, to take the Guru Vidya and to live there with his Guru..till he or she complete the education.
There he or she, used to learn the skills of archery, horse riding, Vedas, upanishads,..
and …exactly same, we are practicing today in military school. Then why there are no such kind of schools? in large scale? why are parents reluctant to send their kids to military schools ?
Such kind of school must be mandatory and compulsory in each and every City.
The most important change which I notice is 600 + cadets are away from internet, laptop, cell phones, and social media.., which is one of the most important achievement of any school of this time…
When the world was stamp down, by the attack of Corona, RLMSS cadets of military school, were exclusively doing well in all the fields.
some kids are exclusively good at singing some are good at drawing.. some are good in military training..some do wonderful fitness..
so, they are able to showcase their on Why not military schools???

cadet is not spoon fed here. He or she has to start from the scratch and those sincere efforts, makes her or him more strong.
I think that, the mindset of the parents should be changed now..
More and more parents must send their kids to such military schools, where along with,
Academics, physical training is also mandatory…, which will make their kids strong -mentally, physically, emotionally! and they will be able to sustain and leave a better life ahead.. and Next Generation will be kind hearted individuals, obedient citizens and hardcore patriots….
