Purpose of the Interaction – The professors from Bharati Vidyapeeth’s College of Engineering, Lavale, Pune interacted under ATL activity with 11th and 12th standard cadets to provide insights on entrepreneurship, innovation, research, project ideation, patenting, and related career pathways.

1. Curriculum Focus & Academic Skills–
Prof Kumkum Bala discus about how students linked their Curriculum Focus & Academic Skills to Innovation and Research. She had emphasis on Article Writing and Project Writing skills.
Activity of Project Ideas – Ideation guided by Ashwini Madam. They had given the task of problem writing for projects and innovative Origami activity.

Researching, Recreating and Rewriting.
Discus about Patenting process (with focus on time and medical applications), explaining Development of a Real Product, Importance of Copyright, creating a Unique Thing, and the concept of being Redefined.

5. Institutional & Industry Exposure
Professors invited the cadets to visit Bharati Vidyapeeth and become familiar with its academic environment, educational opportunities, and various activities. The visit aimed to inspire and motivate the cadets to explore opportunities for their personal, academic, and professional growth.
The session focused on inspiring 11th and 12th standard cadets toward innovation-driven entrepreneurship. Key takeaways included daily ideation practices, the importance of research and project writing, the process of converting problems into patented solutions, and real-world exposure. The interaction aimed to equip students with practical insights for becoming successful innovators and entrepreneurs.
Vote of Thanks –
Cadet Sonakshi Samel of Class XI delivered the Vote of Thanks at the conclusion of the interaction.
In her address, she specifically acknowledged the extra privilege extended by the School Commandant, Avn Wg Cdr M Yagnaraman, which enabled the RLMSS 11th and 12th standard cadets to interact with the eminent professors from Bharati Vidyapeeth — Prof Kumkum Bala, Prof Shubhangi Satav, and Prof Ashwini Bhapkar.
She further expressed sincere gratitude to the School Principal, Mrs Jyoti Khirid, for providing this valuable opportunity that enriched the cadets’ understanding of innovation, entrepreneurship, research, and patenting.
