On the occasion of National Science Day in association with Swaroop Wardhini and TATA Motors Vidyadhanam Science Hands on activities session was arranged in the school. Mentors from Swaroop Vardhini demonstrated science experiments and activities with active participation of cadets from class 6th to 11th.
Activities based on following concepts was conducted by the mentors.
Vishwas Kulkarni- Modern Periodic Table
Raviraj Patil – Newton Telescope, Types of mirrors, measuring equipments like Lux meter, Distance meter, Sound meter, BP apparatus
Yogesh Tambat – Sound Experiments, Ruben’s Tube
Nishikant Bhalekar- Digital Litracy, Virtual Reality,
Sanjay Tambolkar – Scientist and their discovery display
Santosh Visal – Robotics
Cadets of school enjoyed the session a lot.
It was indeed a great experience of learning by doing and critical thinking and constructive learning.
The event was organised by Mrs Savitri Patil and coordinated by Mrs Savitri Patil and Mrs Manjiri Patil, Miss Tejashree Dighe and Smt Jayashree Garud.
