As part of the TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan, a community awareness and screening programme was conducted at Lavale with active participation of 3 Maharashtra Air SQN NCC Cadets Contingent from Rani laxmibhai Mulinchi Sainiki Shala, Pirangut, Pune along with My Bharat Volunteers, and Mahatma Phule School Students.
The programme included:
* TB Awareness Speech and IEC activities
* TB Awareness Rally with NCC Cadets, school students, and volunteers
* Door-to-door TB awareness and symptom survey through the Survey Link
* Identification and referral of persons with TB symptoms for Chest X-ray
* Nikshay Shibir (X-ray Camp) for community screening
* TB Mukt Bharat Shapath (TB-Free Pledge)
The initiative focused on community mobilisation, early identification, awareness and timely referral, contributing towards the goal of making Pune TB-Free.
